Small Haul: Ponds, Revlon, & L’oreal

The day before I left for Mexico, which was about two weeks ago, I made a trip to my local C.V.S. to check out some products that I have been wanting.

What I bought: (Pictures owned by me)

  • Ponds Deep Cleanser & Makeup Remover- the cool cucumber classic
  • Revlon PhotoReady Makeup in 004 Nude*
  • L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional (Secret No. 2) Anti- Redness Primer Corrector*
  • L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional (Secret No. 2) Anti- Dull Skin Primer (Medium/deep skin)

* – The products that were used in the video.

I saw DulceCandy87’s video on “Blog Ready Makeup”, which featured two of the four products that I bought in this haul.  Dulce used the Revlon makeup along with the L’oreal Anti-Redness Primer (the green one), to create a flawless look that is camera ready and can stand the heat and light from taking photographs.  I used it once already and loved it.  I only warn that you use each of these products sparingly! I used a drop and in person it looked fine, but in some photos I noticed that my face was a little “too even toned” and I needed some more color to my face.  Overall, I really like these products, and now I know to use even less than a drop in the future!
